Inflammation transcriptional regulation by IRF8 and IRF1

Published in Journal of Experimental Medicine, our study describe the individual and combined action of these two transcription factor during macrophages response to Interferon gamma. This IRF8/IRF1 Regulome is found to be heavily involved in pathological inflammation, such as experimental cerebral malaria in mouse, but also chronic inflammatory diseases in humans.
