Inflammation transcriptional regulation by IRF8 and IRF1

Writer's picture: DLDL

Published in Journal of Experimental Medicine, our study describe the individual and combined action of these two transcription factor during macrophages response to Interferon gamma. This IRF8/IRF1 Regulome is found to be heavily involved in pathological inflammation, such as experimental cerebral malaria in mouse, but also chronic inflammatory diseases in humans.
