Sunny San Francisco was the host of the North American Finals of the 3 minute thesis competition, on Dec 10, 2022.
Showcasing the best graduate research in North America, the competition was fierce, with 11 contenders from Mexico and different regions of the United States, Mexico, and Atia representing Canada!
With her touching story on the devastating disease that is Leishmaniasis, she touched the audience and was elected the grand winner!
